Brazilian Butt Lift BBL

This is the procedure that involves remodelling the buttocks with adipose tissue taken from other parts of the body.

Particularly popular in the United States and Latin America, where some celebrities are its testimonials (e.g., Jennifer Lopez, Kim Kardashian), this procedure can be performed alone or in combination with other body reshaping procedures.

With fat tissue taken from other parts of the body, it is possible to increase the volume of the buttocks, improve their shape, and correct depressions or imperfections. Furthermore, the removal of excess fat from other parts of the body further contributes to the improvement of the patient's silhouette.

The Surgery

The Brazilian Butt Lift (BBL) involves 3 phases

1)Extraction of adipose tissue

2)Centrifugation and preparation of adipose tissue

3)Infiltration of the previously prepared adipose tissue to reshape the buttocks.

Thanks to modern liposuction techniques such as LIPO HDF, this procedure has become increasingly popular. The drawback of this procedure used to be the lenghty procedure, but thanks to new machines such as the VASER SYSTEM, LIPOSURG, MICROAIRE it can now be performed more quickly and with greater precision.

This is why BBL often becomes an integral part of full-body reshaping procedures such as TOTAL BODY RESHAPING

BRAZILIAN BUTT LIFT can be performed either under local anaesthesia with sedation, or under spinal or general anaesthesia. This choice will depend on a number of factors such as the amount of adipose tissue to be extracted, the number of areas involved, the combination or not with other procedures, and the emotionality of the patients. This is a very important choice that will have to be discussed with your surgeon before surgery.

Hospitalization may be DAY SURGERY or 1 NIGHT OF HOSPITALIZATION depending on the case.

Recovery is very rapid and patients can return to normal in less than a week.

For sporting activity, 2 to 3 weeks will suffice.

The Risk

This is a safe procedure if performed by experienced hands. It is essential to respect the anatomical planes to avoid damaging the tissues surrounding the area to be treated.

THE POST-SURGERY PERIOD involves bruising and swelling for 2/3 weeks and the use of a sheath for 4 weeks.

CHECKS must take place at: 1-2 and 4 weeks.
